At the age of 22, most people are still trying to figure out exactly what it is that they want to do in life, but Augusta-native DJ Spinz has built a list of accomplishments that even a veteran in the industry would find impressive. From appearances on MTV and BET, magazine features, radio shows since the early age of sixteen, and producing some of the hottest mixtapes for the streets of the south, Spinz has the momentum that will undoubtedly catapult him to the next level in 2011.

 

Spinz has been featured in XXL, The Source, Ozone, and Scratch magazines, appeared on BET and MTV, and was awarded the CSRA award for Best Mixtape DJ. The Hoodrich Young Gunner has even been nominated for three SEA awards. His fans have grown accustomed to getting nothing but the hottest exclusives from the biggest major and independent artists, mixtape after mixtape. Whether it be the record breaking Space Invaders, the seductive Rhythm & Swag, or the ear-to-the-streets Heart of the City, if a mixtape has “DJ Spinz” on it, it surely won’t disappoint.

DJ Spinz star is shining bigger and brighter than ever as he has quickly become one of most sought after music producers, lending his services to the likes of Travis Porter, Roscoe Dash, Big Sean, and more. His skill, dedication, and commitment to the art form of deejaying has landed him regular mix show slots on Atlanta’s own Hot 107.9  on Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as Sirius XM’s Hoodrich Radio with DJ Scream and Cory B.
